Sorry I Worried You named The New York Times Book Review “Editor’s Choice”

New York—Gary Fincke’s Sorry I Worried You was named an “Editor’s Choice” in the December 19 edition of The New York Times Sunday Book Review.

Sorry I Worried You was previously featured in the December 12 edition of the Sunday Book Review in “Short Stories: Men and Women of Few Words” by Andrew Irvin. Irvin writes, “Sorry I Worried You is remarkable because although nothing much happens in these stories (from one to the next, lots of people just stand around talking), each is so immediate and engaging that you're pushed straight through to the finish.”

A 2004 winner of the annual Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction, Sorry I Worried You was published in October 2004 by the University of Georgia Press. Sorry I Worried You is Fincke’s fourth collection of short stories.
