Fincke presents reading at Susquehanna University

Selinsgrove, PA—On Thursday, September 9, writer Gary Fincke will read from his book Amp’d: A Father’s Backstage Pass. The reading is scheduled for 7:30 and will be held in Isaacs Auditorium on the campus of Susquehanna University.

A first-hand look at contemporary rock and roll, Amp’d chronicles four years in the life of Fincke’s son, rock and roll guitarist Aaron, as he records and tours with two nationally signed bands. Set against a backdrop of aggressive rock, frenzied fans, moshing, security brutality, and occasional outright violence, Amp’d provides a unique perspective on the bizarre and fantastical world of commercial rock.
