Wilkes University hosts winter residency
Wilkes-Barre, PA—As part of the Wilkes University Master of
Arts in Creative Writing 2006 winter residency, Gary Fincke and more
than
20 other writers served on writing panels for current MA students.
Fincke was part of the residency’s creative nonfiction panel
and read from Amp’d: A Father’s Backstage Pass,
his nonfiction account of his son’s career as a rock and roll
guitarist.
Wilkes
University’s Master of Arts in Creative Writing is a 30-credit,
low-residency program with tracks in fiction, poetry, screenwriting,
playwriting, and creative nonfiction. The program includes two eight-day
residencies each year.
